dakiwiboid, our Mommy, and moosl our new Daddy. Burt's full name is Burt Butterbird and Ernie's name is really Earnest Byrd Moncrieff.
Burt is yellow like butter with some blue and Ernie is blue and white. We're pretty handsome, although the nasty vet says Ernie is overweight.
We have a great big cage. We never get locked up unless something terrible happens or unless it's time to go to bed. We are pretty happy guys most of the time. We like to listen to the radio, watch birds and squirds (those are those birds with fluffy tails) out the window, and see anime on the TV with Mommy and Moose.
We had a pretty girlfriend named Marigold, but she ate too much lead paint, and got really sick and died. That was sad. Mommy says she won't get another girl bird because they all eat stuff they shouldn't. Oh, well.
Ernie likes girl birds of all kinds, but we both like all kinds of animals, and we'd like it very much if other animals would be our friends too! Burt likes to improve his mind on Wikipedia, and he will happily read all about any animals who become our friends! We like human girls too! We have some friends who come to see us, and really like a little person who plays a thing called a guitar. Will you be our friends?
